Our App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information manually.

(b) Information Collected Automatically

When you use iTransfer, we may automatically collect limited technical data for app performance and analytics, including:

  • Device information: Android ID, device model, OS version, system language, and region.

  • App usage data: Basic usage metrics and crash logs to help identify and fix technical issues.

  • Advertising identifiers: Google Advertising ID, used only for displaying non-personalized ads.

  • Storage access: Used only to select, read, and share files from your device.

  • Network information: IP address, connection type (Wi-Fi or mobile network), used to establish peer-to-peer connections.

We do not collect or access the content of the files you share.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To operate and maintain the App and enable peer-to-peer file transfer functionality.

  • To analyze app performance and user behavior in order to improve reliability and efficiency.

  • To display relevant (non-personalized) ads through Google AdMob.

  • To send notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging.

  • To detect, prevent, or address technical issues or misuse.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers strictly for app functionality and analytics:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): Used for push notifications, crash analytics, and general performance tracking.

  • AdMob (Google LLC): Used to display in-app advertisements. Only the Google Advertising ID and basic app context are shared; we use non-personalized ads.

These third parties process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

We do not share any files, messages, or user-identifiable data with external services.

4. Data Security and Storage

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No system is completely secure, but we regularly review our security practices to maintain the integrity of the App.

Data collected via Firebase or AdMob is stored securely on Google’s servers and protected under their respective privacy frameworks.

5. Data Retention

We retain automatically collected analytics and log data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above or as required by law.
You can clear cached app data at any time through your device settings.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:
